How Do I Create a Backup of My Website?

Follow these instructions to learn how to create a backup version of your website:

1. Open the website that you wish to create a backup.

2. Note:  You can only back up a website that you are currently editing.
2. On the main toolbar, click the Backup button.

3. In the Backup Site panel, enter the name for the backup site.

   

3. Note:  It is a good idea to choose a name that easily identifies the backed-up website, for example, "My Fall Site–Backup Website."
4. Click the Backup button.

You have created a backup of your website, which is saved in the Backup Manager.
