Grid lines and ruler guide lines appear in the Website Builder to assist you with your overall design and layout of objects.
Use the grid lines as a reference point to help you lay out, align, and arrange different objects once you drag them onto your website page, for your site's navigation bar, text boxes, images, documents, or videos.
Ruler guide lines help you align objects on the website page. If you turn on rulers for each of your website pages, then you can ensure that your design and alignment of objects is consistent throughout each page. Rulers provide a point of reference and can also help you if your layout is complex and you have several objects on your page.
If the snap-to-grid functionality is enabled for grid lines or ruler guidelines or both, then your objects will snap to the intersection of lines that are closest to the object.
By default, grid lines appear automatically when you move any object on your website page. Turn on grid lines and ruler guide lines always appear on the website page while you are working, or turn them off completely. You can do this from the Settings button on the main toolbar through the Builder Settings panel.
