How Do I Move a Text Box?

Follow these instructions to learn how to move a text box from one area of your website page to a different area on the page.

And use these instructions to move any object on your website page to a different area—images, media, apps, social, and docs.

1. On the website page, place your mouse over the text box.

   A dotted line appears around the box. This means the text box is ready to move.

   

2. Drag and drop the object to the desired area on the website page.

3. Also, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the text box 1 pixel up and down or left and right.

   To move the text box in increments of 10 pixels, press the Shift key and any of the arrow keys.

The text box now appears in a new location on your website page.
